"For one year Kristoffer Clausen will try to survive in the Norwegian wilderness only on what he will hunt, fish or find of edible plants/berries in the nature. One year in the wild is the title of his project. Equipped only with his sleeping bag, hunting rifle/shotgun, fishing gear, and some outdoors equipment he will have to make his own shelters if he want�s roof over his head and he will have to find his own food.

Kristoffer is filming his project and he will make a series from his year in the wild, it will be available with English language. He is also writing a book from his expedition and both will be avialable before December 2010."

English: Kristoffer is equipped with two videocameras, one SLR camera, cellphone and a laptop. He is producing a book, film and a TV series from his project. In addition he is delivering an article to Norways largest outdoors magazine, Villmarksliv, once a month. He has acces to a storage for his winter equipment and on the same place he is able to reload his camera batteries. For his cellphone he has a solarpower charger

So let me get this straight...

Spend 1 year hunting, fishing, camping. Film the adventure and get someone to pay you for it.

He did it over 30 years ago with a pair of shorts and a knife, nothing more.

I saw this movie already. the doofus dies in the end because he ate the wrong plant and poisoned himself even though he had all the time in the world to read every bit of the plant guide he has a copy of, but spent his time on poetry and brainsturbating instead....

Yeah, reading the plant guide AFTER you eat the poisonous plant doesnt usualky work out to well.
